Agentic solution · Child Safeguarding

Every safeguarding report, first disclosure to closure. People decide.

Agents listen, draft and check. Rules hold the legal duties: who must be told, and by when. The Safeguarding Lead and the head of the organisation make every call that matters.

What it does

One report, seven moves, every actor named

Each step shows who acts: an agent, a rule, or a person.

Agent + rules1 · Intake

Three doors (child, reporter, witness), one record. Danger check first. The person's own words are kept, and they confirm before submitting.

Agent → rules2 · Classification

Per allegation, across three tracks: the Children's Guardian, child protection and police. Rules check the agent and start the clocks at awareness.

Rule3 · Convene

No model. Rules seat the reviewers the facts call for and seal the case file, with the accused's manager kept out.

Council4 · Deliberation

Each lens reads the same sealed file. Doubts about whether the child is telling the truth are parked for the investigation.

Agent + rules5 · Options

The chair frames two or three options. Any option that skips a report the law requires is ruled out, even if the chair offered it.

People6 · Two gates

The Safeguarding Lead confirms classification and the option. The head of the organisation approves and sends the notification an agent drafted.

Agent → person7 · Program & allocation

Parallel streams with legal due dates set by rule. An investigator who shares the accused's site or manager can't be chosen.

How it's built

The agents, the Council and the gates

Agents listen, draft and do routine work. Rules hold the legal clocks and thresholds. No agent can write to the record; validated flows do.

Questions

Does the AI decide whether something is abuse?

No. Agents listen, draft and propose. Rules apply the law's thresholds and clocks. The Safeguarding Lead and the head of the organisation make every decision, and nothing goes to a family, the police or a regulator until a person sends it.

Which states does it cover?

The rehearsal ships a NSW pack: the Children's Guardian, child protection and police tracks with their clocks. Each state is a configuration pack. A matter touching a state without a pack is flagged for manual review, never skipped.

Can a child use it?

The design has a child's door: plain, warm, short turns, no leading questions, and no promises of secrecy. In the public rehearsal the child and witness doors are scripted only.

What's the difference between the kit and a FAR?

The kit is the design as rehearsed, for teams who build themselves. A FAR tailors it to your function's states, data, rules and people, and leads to a build with us.

Is this legal advice?

No. It's a reference architecture. Confirm every statutory parameter with your legal team and regulator before use.

See it work before you build it.
