Functional Agentic Blueprinting -Where the business case becomes a build.

The design your build team can actually build from.

The Functional Agentic Blueprint is the build-ready functional and technical design for agentic AI on Microsoft Power Platform. It picks up where your agentic roadmap stops — and hands a delivery team a design they can build, line by line.

How a legacy function becomes a build-ready design — in four steps.

Inherit the direction from your FAR. Map the real work. Peel it into layers. Hand over something build-ready. The same four moves run on any function — claims, lending, contact centre, HR — and end in a design a build team can pick up.

The Blueprint inherits a direction — it doesn't start cold.

It picks up two things already agreed: the AI Exposure Report, which shows where the exposure is, and the Functional Agentic Roadmap, which carries the business case and the wave sequence. The design begins where the decision to invest left off — no relitigating the case, straight into how it gets built.

Walk one real case. Log every hand and every wait.

Follow a single case end to end through five stages — intake, assess, decide, act, learn — named in the function's own words. Record every hand that touches it and every wait where it queues. The waits matter as much as the hands: queue-time is where the business case hides.

Sort each hand by its verb — then discipline what actually moves.

Inside every stage the work stacks in three bands. Atoms · Keep — the call and the accountability — stay human. Electrons · Enhance — summarise, score, recommend — are co-processed. Electrons · Replace — gather, check, route, log — are offloaded. Then one test decides what moves first: does this change the decision, or just move information? Writes stay gated; over-claimed "judgment" gets audited back down.

The chosen capabilities, realised at build altitude.

This is where the Blueprint earns its name. The selected capabilities become a buildable specification: the orchestration logic (deterministic where compliance demands it, generative where a summary is needed), the Dataverse entity model, and each agent's design — trigger, grounding, tools, and the human-approval gate before anything is committed. Microsoft governs the build with its own frameworks and review gates, but publishes no functional design template at this altitude. The Blueprint is that artifact.

Every Agentic 'Roapmap' and 'BluePrint' starts with a free AI exposure assessment

Every Blueprint starts with a Function-level AI Exposure Report: a no-obligation read on where agentic AI would earn its place in your function. It's the front door to the roadmap, the blueprint and the build.
