Nintex workflow development - on site training
The Nintex Workflow 2007 [NWF2007] enables business users, analysts, managers and other stakeholders to either independently or to collaborate with developers in the design, implementation and enhancement of the SharePoint environment. It provides novice users and business analysts with rich new capabilities while it's out of the box functionality enables developers to rapidly implement rich business and composite applications. The NWF2007 builds upon SharePoint drag drop and configure interface and provide a new capabilities that will transform how you can use SharePoint.

Leverage your investment in SharePoint and NWF2007 with the help of the instructor, you will go through many practical exercises of increasing difficulty, and become able to design and deploy a variety of workflows.
A total of 6 modules are covered over the 2 days of the workshop:
Module 1: Nintex Workflow 2007, features, editions. Demo of Nintex Connect and support options. Gives an outline of Nintex Workflow and how it relates to Microsoft Sharepoint. Module 2: Getting up and running Installation, configuration, updating, online help and support. Hands-on lab. Module 3: Becoming familiar with the Nintex Workflow components, build the first workflow. Introduce the graphical workflow designer, creating a workflow, adding and configuring actions, deploying and running, examining workflow history, deleting. Hands-on lab. Module 4: Basic constructs and commonly used actions. Action sets, snippets, templates, send a notification, set a condition, request approval. Hands-on lab. Module 5: Learn about lists, item check-out and check-in. Using the basic Sharepoint features, lists and items. Introduce workflow variables. Introduce the "list", "item", "check-out", "check-in", "set field value", "cancel check-out", "create a site", "set item level permissions" actions. Apply most of them in hans-on lab excercises. Module 6: Active directory and State Machine. Introduce the Active Directory actions. Create and deploy workflows that make use of AD actions and AD resources. Also introduce the state machine action through example and hands-on lab excercises. Module 7: Putting it all together Work on as many lab excercises as time permits to put your newly acquired knowledge to work. Web services, parent-child workflows, creating a team site from a workflow, workflow constants, a capital expenditure request workflow, and others.
The training assumes no prior knowledge of business process management in general or of Nintex Workflow specifically. Modules 1 to 5 are run in day 1, modules 6 to 7 in days 2.
Course Content Training is typically held on you site, using your SharePoint infrastructure and can be undertaken on either a WSSv3 or MOSS environment. Delegates need to have a good understanding of SharePoint but you do not need to have a technical IT background. Developers and IT pro’s will also get great value out of this training.
